100 push ups

Submitted by on January 26, 2010 – 10:59 am4 Comments

I decided to take a look at the 100 pushups website. I tried the first week. My initial test said that I was supposed to be at week 3. After doing all the sets yesterday, I feel that I need to start this week as a week 1 instead of a week 3. I did my best though. The first day required me to do 14, 18, 14, 14 and 20 for the final set with 60 seconds of rest in between each set.

My legs are still sore but feeling a lot better now since Sunday’s marathon. I need to continue to stretch.

yoga and lifting weights are not the same at all. this would be like asking if fruit could replace vegetables or the other way around. Don’t try to replace either disciplines with the other but do both of them. the lifting will make you stronger and the yoga will keep you limber. used together lifting and yoga form a great exercise routine for the week
