Well I just took a 3 Day break from working out. My knee is still bothering but I am walking fine. I can move my knee fairly easily but still feel pain somewhat. I will start this week with the new Phase 2 of the workouts. I will see if I can do doubles. I have noticed a good change in my body and am looking forward to seeing my results on camera. I will be doing our 30 day weigh in and body fat percentage tomorrow at work. Looking forward to Chest, Shoulders and Triceps today. I will try to bring it today. “Do your best and forget the rest.”

I finished Week 3. Now on a rest week. I will be doing Yoga X today. I love Yoga. Next Week will be the 30 days. Pics will go up also.

What I thought was going to be a good day to run turned out to be my worst and most painful run ever. It started off well. There were a lot of hills after the 1st mile. It seemed mostly up hill for the most part. Then there were some down hill. When I saw the Torrey Pines hill I almost died. I have walked up this hill before and now I was going to run it. Well that was at mile 6 when the Torrey Pines hill started. I walked up most of that. My knee started bothering me. I got to the top and couldn’t run anymore. My knee was killing me. I couldn’t run any longerĀ I thought. I had to walk straight for a mile. I tried to do a run job but it was the most pain I have ever felt running. When I got to mile 6 it was an hour and I was running a 10 minute pace. I finished at 2:46. The last 6 miles were the worst with the uphill and downhill. I thought my leg was going to fall off. I tried to not think about it too much so I would be able to go. I then tried walking 5 minutes at the beginning of every mile to give my leg a rest then jog to the best of my ability till the next mile and repeat. I continued that until the last 2 miles where it was mostly walk 5 minutes jog 5 minutes. I will be taking a rest from running. Until next time. I will be visiting the doctor to see what the extent of the damage is.

Well I just finished Week 2 of P90X. I wasn’t able to do the workouts on the weekend. I was in Reno having a mini vacation. I didn’t do any workout on Friday and on Saturday. I did however do some snowboarding on Sunday. I went to Squaw Valley. What a resort! I couldn’t have been at a better place. I did some advanced stuff in the beginning and then took it easy the last 1/4 of the day. Well anyhow, my legs were about to die on the last run of the day. I’m glad it was over. Monday I was able to do the Chest and Back workout, but had a lot of interruptions. I still finished off with Ab Ripper X. I still don’t think this workout is getting any better. Tuesday I didn’t do Plyometrics because I had to get in some running for my half marathon coming up this Sunday. That was tough because my legs were sore from my snowboarding and previous run injury. We will see how I will do in the next couple of days…

Well Day 10 is over. Shoulders and Arm and Ab Ripper. I was able to use weights for the workout. I believed that they did make it significantly tougher. I really felt it in my shoulders and my arms when using free weights compared to the resistance bands. Ab Ripper was tough. I am still recovering over my run on Sunday. It seems to me that my running does affect this workout. I really have no choice with my running if I will be doing the full marathon in June. On to Day 11….

Well the start of Week 2 wasn’t so bad. My legs are hurting bad and I can’t do any type of leg workout for a while. I was able to still do Chest and Back and AbRipper X. I will try to rest my foot and legs as much as possible to get any more out of my workouts. We will see!!

Man is that tough. I ran 16 miles yesterday and I am feeling it today. I didn’t run really hard but I tried to keep my pace of 12 miles at first. I ended up running a pace of 10 min/mile. I wasn’t able to keep that speed up after 8 miles. I felt good at the 8 and figured my distance was good for the time. I approached it differently than all my other runs. I ran 3 miles walked and ran another 3 then walked. I then ran 2 miles walked and then walked every mile after until the end when I walked a whole lot because my right leg was killing me. I’m not sure if I should have pushed myself harder but in the end I was happy. I was really tired and kinda out of motivation towards the end but this was the farthest I have ever run. Wow… Anyhow looking forward for the break this week and will run on the 22nd for my second half marathon. Wish me luck.
