Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there. I ran this morning in our wet weather in San Diego. I ran 4 miles straight with a friend and then we met up with 4 of our other friends and walked 1 mile to the finish. We are cooking for our Thanksgiving with our family. I have the duty of the potato salad. I have to work tomorrow also. I am not sure what I want to do for the Black Friday. I might just end up getting some movies. I am on Day 85 with 4 left to go. I should be doing the workouts but have been busy with other things. P90X will start again in December but I will try to do a modified version before the beginning of the year for another round. Good luck with everyone else’s workouts and nutrition. I hope you are keeping diet and exercise in mind for the holidays.



P90X Day 80

I did Back and Biceps today. I tried to do my best and I upped the weights a little on each one. I feel that my progress is getting better in my strength. I want to lean up though and get more cut. I have to be strict and get on the diet a little better. It sucks how people want to hang out and go and drink and eat and do things. I feel I am at a loss. At least I did the workouts and not sit on my ass all day. Feel free to comment back and give me and tips and I hope you guys try to do your best.



Day 75

Hey I did a run with my brother this morning around 8am. We ran 8 miles together. He didn’t think he could finish. At mile 5 he said that he wasn’t able to finish because it was so warm. He wore a long sleeve while I wore a cut off. I think he should have dressed a little bit better. And I thought he would have got a drink from the car to help him finish. I though I was doing fine following him. I was a little distracted though since I was listening to a book rather than the running music I usually listen to.



Day 73

My progress on P90x has been ok. I have noticed that my size is getting a little bigger. Diet hasn’t been the greatest but I am still trying to watch my portions. There have been some weekends that I have been not doing as good as I should. I need to get back on doing the abs. I feel like I am at a slump. Work has been ok, it has been busy and a little stressful. I have been doing doubles for the last 3 weeks though. I have been waking up everyday Monday thru Friday at 5:45 am. Either for work or to do a workout. I have been doing the P90X+ Kenpo Cardio plus and the Interval X+. Those are kick ass workouts but I should stop complaining and start getting into the shape to get to my goal of the 10% body fat and/or six pack. Running has been ok as well. I have been running with my brother as he is trying to do his first half marathon in January.
