			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow, what another amazing ride we just finished on Saturday. It was not so crazy as I thought it would be. Still tough though. We started in La Jolla again at our spot in Parking lot 207. We had some other things that we talked about this past morning, which included some core strength training. I think I feel a little stronger every time I ride. My butt doesn&#8217;t hurt as much any more but I feel that I can try to get some more leg training that I should. </p>
<p>I had spin class on Thursday. I kinda want to start riding more this week so that I can get more into shape. I feel that I can&#8217;t keep up with the group sometimes especially on the hills. I just too tired and my heart rate just goes up and then I get burned out. I do fine on the smaller hills and inclines but when it comes to some serious climbing, I just get burned. I think I need to mix in some strength and speed intervals to help with that. </p>
<p>The ride was nice though. I wish I could have ridden like that in a group. I wish I had a group of friends that I could ride with. There is still a lot to learn from all the riding and its good that I have a great group that I am doing this with. I think I almost enjoy it more than running. It may take a lot longer but the fun is there. I feel a little bit more connected with this group than the run group. It seems like I will never be with a group like this anywhere. Maybe or maybe not. </p>
<p>I forgot my heart rate monitor at home. I wish I brought it. I think I probably burned about 400 more calories than the previous week.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I did another day of <a href="http://hundredpushups.com/">100 pushups</a>. I continued with the Week 3 day 1 numbers to keep me up there. I did a little bit more this time though. The sets were as follows: 14, 18, 14, 14, 20. I was only able to do 14, 18, 14, 14, 10. It was a little bit more this time but I felt sore throughout the whole thing. It wasn&#8217;t as bad as I thought it was going to be but still tough nonetheless. </p>
<p>I feel that I am strong but its hard to tell if I am getting stronger. I haven&#8217;t done any pushups in a long time so it is hard to say where my strength is at the moment.</p>
<p>I am going to sign up for the rock n roll half marathon. My two brothers are doing it and I think it is a good thing we are doing this together as a group. I want to help them out as much as possible. Especially my older brother who doesn&#8217;t run at all. I think he needs some help to get him through it since it is his first!</p>
<p>I want to recruit some other friends that may want to complete their own first half marathon or run. I have a friend that might want to do it and so I want to help him out also.</p>

<p>This was a great workout last night. I burned about 656 calories. This one seems tough as well as the Max Interval Circuit. I need to use my yoga mat when I do them and have the fan on. </p>

<p>Wow, I am in the home stretch. Can&#8217;t wait to finish. What&#8217;s next are a lot of things on my mind. P90x/Insanity and maybe a triathlon. Also I have some races in between. I have a 5k in October and possibly a half marathon in November. I keep my self busy somewhat. I have a 20 mile run tomorrow and a wedding and I have to do 2 other Insanity workouts. I think I am overloaded. I just know that after this week its going to be fun. I was a little tired today. Not much energy but got through the workout. I was working off of 3 hours sleep and a nap of an hour and a half. I got through it. I pushed on some parts and too breaks on others. My laptop that I use to do the videos had me reset the video 3 times. Arghhh!!! Man I hate that. I then take a break and feel like I am cheating myself somewhat. But anyhow I got it in the books. </p>

<p>This workout was tough today. My knees were giving me problems in the Cardio Abs and during the Max Cardio Conditioning video. The jumping and bringing the knees to the hips were the tough parts. I couldn&#8217;t keep up because my knees caused me to have these issues. I wanted to get more out of it but the knees were giving me problems. I should take it easy but I am at the last few weeks here. I still have two longs runs and they have to put me where I need to be for my birthday run. I can&#8217;t let up. What am I to do. I can&#8217;t sacrifice one or the other. </p>

<p>This workout is tough. I don&#8217;t think it is too crazy though. I do prefer the first 30 days more than this. I feel like I can&#8217;t push as long but I still am able to dig deep and push it. Each time the videos get a little bit easier. They aren&#8217;t easy by far though. I think always in the beginning you go hard then you see how much more you can dig deeper to keep going at it. Each set of intervals are crazy. The incorporate the whole body with legs all the way to shoulders. </p>

<p>Max Interval Plyo is another tough workout. It last about 55 minutes long but I don&#8217;t know if it was me but I felt tired doing this one. I didn&#8217;t give it my all. I was sore from the previous day and I was tired. I only had 8 hours of rest from the last workout. That isn&#8217;t long enough. I was still able to burn about 563 calories. There were different moves in this video compared to yesterday. Lots of jumping and lots of core and pushups. The pushup moves at the end had me breathing hard and trying to keep up. I didn&#8217;t have the strength at the end to do the power push up move and the level 3 pushup drills. There were more power moves overall in this video compared to yesterday and some of the moves were really technical like the side pushups. I felt some pain doing the side to side globe jumps on my left knee. I just need to be careful and not go too hard. My calves are really sore still. </p>
<p>I have to do a long run this weekend 14.5 miles. I don&#8217;t care how long it takes me. I wont be pushing an 8 minute pace though. Something along the lines of 9-9:30 min/mile pace. I need to keep strong and injury free for my 30 on 30 run!!</p>

<p>Hello everyone. I got through a lot today with this workout. I had some unexpected visitors that watched that helped me push a little bit more throughout the workout. I might try adding more calories today with my run and getting more burn with the workouts. I think my results are going great. I notice small changes throughout my body and my energy level and stamina. It has also helped with my running as far as being to push longer and stronger throughout my runs. I love the P90X recovery drink after every workout. It tastes good and helps out a lot.</p>
