Insanity Day 46 Max Recovery

 Insanity Day 46 Max Recovery

Great workout today. I burned 355 calories. Day 46 is a great recovery workout. Not so intense as the Max Recovery. I might look at doing some cutting down on calories for this week. Maybe trying to cut my calories by 600 per day from Monday till Saturday. I’m still trying to cut down on some fat here. The stretching is good and the core work is great in this workout. The lunge holds with the hip stretches are tough along with the squat holds. I burned about 400 calories in this one. I wish I could hold the core and the squat moves longer. I can’t stand the burning so I have to take a break during those. I know I still have to dig deeper in this to get to a good burn.

Later today is a 16 mile run. I know I need to bring enough liquids to not suffer from the heat! Its going to be tough. I plan on doing this run around Miramar Lake today because of the better conditions and also the fact that I can return to my car when I need to rehydrate. I’m not looking to do a fast run but just to finish the distance in 3 hours. My legs don’t feel so bad today so we will see how it goes.

I am also debating on training for another triathlon but that won’t be till October or so. I have so many fitness goals. It never seems to end. I have some runs in October and they will probably end there with the daylight savings time change. I won’t be able to run after work because of that. I’m also eyeing another half marathon in November which should be good. Its the Silver Strand Half Marathon in San Diego along the coast of Coronado to Imperial Beach. I think it should the flattest run!
