You should buy them when you can afford them, and take it easy at first-seriously. Youll get fitter as you get more into them. Start with p90x and then move into insanity. But p90x is no walk in the park. It will kick your butt. But after two weeks or so you’ll get the hang of it and you’ll enjoy doing it. From then on your life will change. You will lose weight not because of the program (although you will lose of weight a lot from the program), but because you will see yourself losing weight and you will want to do more and more to aid that weight loss. I know people who lost 50 pounds when they did p90x, and after they finished they lost another 50 from not even doing the program. They just worked out as a result of the program because they enjoyed fitness and they enjoyed seeing the scale go down every week. p90x is seriously enough to get you on track to being a normal weight.Insanity is not so much weight loss as it is for people who have done p90x for like 6 rounds and want to mix it up a little bit. I personally like p90x only because Tony is so motivating and you learn to love him. Shaun T is like that as well but the program is so fast paced that the shock factor leaves you thinking “oh god what have I done,” and you find yourself really not pushing yourself as hard as you can just because the program is too hard that you sell yourself short. P90x is really hard but it is also longer and you you therefore get more feedback from tony, whereas Shaun T, who is doing the workout with you, is huffing and puffing and trying to give you advice that you really can’t understand in the midst of the madness. Additionally, p90x seems to have yielded better results just because the resistance training is an excellent way of speeding u your metabolism and burning fat, whereas Shaun T’s program is just extreme cardio that burns a lot of calories. Most people have found that insanity will help you lose weight, and 90x will help you lose weight, but in p90x people have lost a greater percentage of their fat, whereas in insanity a lot of the calories burned come from muscle. Nevertheless it gets you extremely extremely fit. So my advice would be do p90x until you reach your goal, then do insanity because by then you will be fit and ready for a new challenge.
