Wow, a lot has happened in a couple of days. I think my run on Saturday went very well. I decided not to do Legs and Back and Saturday because of my run. I decided to run around 2:30 pm till about 6:30 with all the breaks and fueling up. My run time was around 3.5 hours. I think I did a lot better due to the fact that I didn’t work out the legs the day before and I was running from the afternoon to the evening which made it a lot cooler than to run from cooler to hot.
The P90X has been good. Diet has been good but could be better. I look at myself in the mirror every morning and I do see some changes. I wish I just took some Day 1 photos, but that is ok. I am on recovery week and start off with Yoga X today.

I was sick yesterday. I hated it. I got sick on Tuesday at work while having lunch. It was like I got an instant cold. I was eating lunch then all of a sudden, I started sneezing and then my nose started running and then it just got worse. I didn’t work out last night but I will try today since I feel a little better. I hope I can do it. I hate to skip any days because it will cause me to make more excuses not to do anything. I still also have my 20 miles this weekend.

I ran 17 miles and wow that was tough. I didn’t try to run very fast but tried to get it over with. I think the first half was easy then it started to get rough. I did eat a lot more this time before the run and I was using gels and clif bar shot bloks. I also used Carbo-Pro in my drink to help give me more calories. I just felt tired during the last lap. I think my sweat ratio to drink is not so good. I may need more fluids during the run and just feeling low in energy. I might need to get on the accelarade again to see if that will help.
I will continue onto P90X Xstretch today and some ab ripper x. I think the stretch will help on my soreness also.

I did the Shoulders and Arms yesterday. It seemed a little tougher because I tried to do 10 reps for all the moves which gave me a better burn on all the muscles. I think in the end it felt better to do that to try the 8 reps. I still am having issues with my legs and running to do the Ab Ripper X. I wanted to get up to run this morning but it was too dark out and I didn’t want to run in the dark. Yoga tonight. I want to be able to finish that workout!!!On a side note, I think my heart rate monitor watch broke. I hate it. I use it all the time. It helps me monitor my effort. I have a 17 mile run this weekend and I wont have it. I think it might be the battery. I could try another battery…

Yesterday I finished Chest and Back. I did a little better with some of the reps. I did AB Ripper X this morning and that was tough because I made myself do all the 25 reps for all the moves. I had to pause the video a bunch of times but I think it will make me better at it to do all the reps. Today I am going to run 5 miles.

Well it seems like it has been a long weekend kinda. I did run on friday for 5 miles while trying to fit in some yogax. I was only able to do about 20 minutes of it. Saturday I did the legs and back workout. Today I am feeling it. It is tough to sit down. Although I know that it will get better. I am thinking of running, but I am not sure because my legs are pretty sore. I just have x stretch tonight which should help with my leg soreness. Diet has been alright. I think I should have eaten better on sunday. Sunday I ran 15 miles. That was tough. I should have eaten more because I felt out of enery the last 5 miles. The shot bloks and gels helped out a lot. I think I needed colder drinks as well since I felt so hot during the run. I might even need more fluids. We will see this weekend when I run 17 miles. Wish me luck

I just finished Day 4. I can’t believe I just did that. It was Shoulders and Arms. I was looking at my last workout sheets and tried to keep up with the weight and reps from the last time. I ended up doing the Ab Ripper X this morning. I couldn’t do all the reps but just tried to do 15 for each exercise because my abs are still sore from Tuesday. Today is Yoga X. I am planning on running 5 miles then doing the Yoga. I’m crazy.
