Review: One on One Tony Horton: 30 15 workout

Submitted by on April 19, 2009 – 12:42 pm2 Comments

For those that have tried just the regular Chest and Back workout in P90X, this workout will add to that workout. I didn’t know what to expect when I actually started but I would try my best whatever I had to do. I can’t really do more than 8-10 pull ups normally, but this was intense. I was able to keep up on the push ups on the first two sets but after that I was doing them on my knees to try to keep the reps up.

I know trying to keep up is one thing but also to go to failure is what I would end up doing. The pull ups were tough because I can’t do as much as Tony Horton but I would then just go to the chair to do the assisted reps until I was able to go to 15 reps. When Tony ended up going to less reps I was actually doing about half the reps he was but on my knees. After having this video 3 days ago I am still feeling the soreness from this workout. I might end up replacing the Chest and Back workout for this one. There might be more rest breaks throughout but this workout but in the end I felt like this is a great workout for chest and back.

This workout will not give you the crazy huffing and puffing like the Chest and Back workout in P90X but it gives you the tough workout that I love. Keep pushing play and trying to change it up.
