<p>Pure cardio is still a tough workout. I don&#8217;t know for you guys but now I try to maintain the workout throughout rather than pushing like crazy from any point to failure. What do you guys think? The 15 minutes of straight working out is tough but I think I can hang in there pretty good. I hate watching the time meter it always distracts me from what I really need to do. I do notice that my heart rate is a lot lower than it used to be which is good. So it means i can push harder longer without having to feel as fatigued.</p>

<p>Hey everyone.<br />
Another day of pure cardio down. Loving it. Its getting better and I am able to push it more and more each time I do the workout. I am feeling and seeing the results in my body. I feel it more in my running as I have better times for my running. I ran 11 miles about 3 days ago and I was able to keep a 9 min/mile pace over the whole workout. I think it was due to the Insanity workouts. I can&#8217;t wait to see what my body looks like in 60 days. I am already almost 1/3 way through the program. Tony Horton, Shaun T and Beachbody have given me what I have always wanted in life, my health and fitness!!</p>

<p>Pure Cardio. I dread this workout. I know its hard. I want to push more sometimes but I can&#8217;t. I think the breathing is where the workout get tough. When you are breathing in and out quickly then you start to feel the pain and you have to dig deeper to get through it. There are some moves that don&#8217;t require as much of an effort but require you to maintain the workout. I still love it no matter what. I dread the beginning and then love it at the end and tell myself that this workout was tough and I should have pushed it more. My body tells me to quit but I should have a little bit more left to push it to the end. I have to finish later today with the Cardio Abs and some running. More calories will be needed for my total for today. </p>

<p>Hello everyone,<br />
I loved today&#8217;s workout. I was thinking this day was going to be tough but felt very well through this workout. I didn&#8217;t know that each successive workout gets a little bit easier. Maybe it was just me but I also had the fan on to help me stay hydrated. I don&#8217;t know if that would be considered cheating but I think if anything that helps me get through the workouts easier without taking breaks is something you should try. I was able to butn 498 calories and averaged 148 bpm and maxed at 178. I think I could have pushed a little bit more but who knows.  </p>

<p>Day 5 of Insanity was pure cardio. I noticed that this video seemed to be shorter. Shorter doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean easier. This has got to be the toughest workout yet. I don&#8217;t think that there were that many mandatory breaks in this one. </p>
<p>The video started off exactly like the Plyometric Cardio Circuit workout with the jog, jumping jacks, heisman, 123, heel kicks and mummy moves and the repeat 3x. Then to stretching then to the 14 minute blasting cardio. </p>
<p>It started off ok and it didnt seem so bad. I didn&#8217;t think to myself that the cardio portion of this workout was going to include or NOT include a mandatory break. It was a straight 14 minute workout after the stretch. I couldn&#8217;t keep up for some of the parts. I think I could have pushed it more and I did. I dig deeper for the last parts. Sometimes I wish workout videos shouldn&#8217;t have the time displayed. It makes people quit earlier because they know how much time is left to stop that move and move on the the next or even just stop all together and wait for the next move. </p>
<p>Based on my Garmin 310xt I burned 465 calories. I averaged about a 152 bpm and maxed at 177. I think I should have pushed it more. I was breathing hard throughout the workout. I deserve a pat on the back. I am eating well. I&#8217;m not sure if I should cut or add calories though. I am feeling good though. I need to get to sleep!! Good night everyone.</p>
