Thanksgiving week

Submitted by on November 27, 2009 – 11:55 amNo Comment

Its been a busy week. Its tough to get everything you want to do in during the holidays. It never seems to end.

I was supposed to run on Wednesday but got caught up with stuff. I was lucky to get in a run in Thanksgiving morning. I jogged/run with two members of the Ragnar Relay Race coming up. I kept their pace knowing it was going to be a jog for me. The goal was a 12 min/mile pace. We were going pretty well for a bit till we got to around mile 2.5 and we had to slow down. It isn’t easy getting to a faster pace is what I keep thinking about the team. I know we have a way to go but to shave time off your mile isn’t easy. I know how much work it has taken me to get to where I am now.

I am trying to help everyone with our goal of keeping a 11 minute pace or faster but I think it might be a crazy goal. Only time will tell. We also need two more team members now. I hope we can find some friends that will do it with us.
